At Mise Eire, we believe in a
healthy, fun approach to Irish
dance. During classes, our
dancers learn important dance
skills, techniques, and steps,
which are woven together with
intellectual concepts such as
self-awareness, positive
self-esteem, and the value and
importance of team work.
In an increasingly multicultural
world it is essential for our
children to develop an
understanding of culture and
art. It is our hope that by
teaching them to love Irish
dance, we are helping to foster
a greater appreciation for other
cultures, as well.
About
Mise Eire
Mise Eire is the title of a famous Irish poem by Padraig Pierce and
means "I am Ireland" in Gaelic. In each step taken, we feel each
dancer embodies that statement, partaking in the rich culture and
heritage of the Irish people. Our mission is to impart traditional Irish
dance in a fun, nurturing environment. While "Mise Eire" has been
around for eight years, Patti Love, TCRG, has been empowering Irish
dancers on Long Island for over 25 years in the Babylon area.
Come join us and enjoy the sense of community that Mise Eire has to offer!
