At Mise Eire, our goal is to pass on the traditions of Ireland through Irish dance. During the process, we hope to teach lessons about perseverance, determination, practice, team work, patience, and commitment.

We take the steps of our ancestors and combine them with the music of our forefathers. The steps come together into choreographies, which we perform in myriad venues.
At local St. Patrick's Day parades...

...And at many community and charity events throughout the year!
All of this culminates in our annual year-end performance called "Tiny Feet, Big Hearts" which raises money for local and regional charities. Past recipients include: Marty Lyons Foundation, The Children's Medical Fund of NY, the LI 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer, among others. "Tiny Feet" is an expression of our commitment to our community and reinforces the ideas of positive self-images and empowerment.

Some dancers wish to take their dancing to the next level and they train for competitions. Both soloists and group Dance Dramas from Mise Eire have been awarded local, regional, and national honors!
And when school is out for summer, the Mise Eire Cultural Arts Camp is in session!
Of course, we perfected our Irish dance skills!
And we learned a lot about our heritage & ourselves. We spent time with classmates and made new friends!
We learned to embroider Celtic designs and how to play a tune

We baked Irish Soda Bread!
Come See For yourself why Mise Eire is such a wonderful place to learn Irish dance!
At private parties, such as birthdays and weddings...
